Adrian,

I am assuming that you would also do the majority of the rounds at your local club or visit some of the tracks before the FKS round. Based on your figures that would add another Ł4K or Ł5K even if done on a tight budget.

All in a years racing at national level plus 12 clubbie meetings is going to cost around Ł15K and that's assuming you don't need a spare engine or write off a chassis.
