ahhhh the old slag the marshals off thread again.....ive said it before and il say it again...depending on their roll they are there to wave flags and keep your little darlings safe, not to sort out sqwables between the little idiots...

....last time i checked the marshals werent in the karts running into eachother...its funny, people always blame the marshals for not seeing accidents, they never blame their little darlings for driving into the guy infront!

remember, marshals have 20-30 karts to look at all at once, you have a split second to spot the kart causing a problem, to assess and aportion blame, all with another 20 karts 3 abreast around the kart in question....

....do me a favour MVJ next time you go karting, go stand on a corner with a flag for 10 hours, try to keep your concentration, then when s**t hits the fan, with 10 karts flying off, tell me who caused it, what number the kart was, how it happened and write the report to the clerk..

....its not an easy task and takes years of practice to get right....maybe if you gave the marshals at GYG your vast knowledge of marshalling they would be better in the future....

...or on the other hand maybe your talking from your rear end, wouldnt give up a day of your life to volenteer and would do a worse job than the guys already at GYG!
