Not so long ago the general wisdom was that you slackened everything off in the wet (sidepods, floor tray etc). Now, the general wisdom is that you tighten everything in the wet. Of course, some will still say to slacken it all in the wet.

The point being that as much as it's good to intellectualise, theorise and pontificate about the physics behind a given change, in karting, because of the way setup direction reverses back on itself depending on conditions, it is far more productive to simply test things for yourself.
