Thanks for the offer ian. I'm not sure what I am going to do with either chassis yet. I need to get intrepids story first and chat to others who have apparently had the same problems with new 2011 chassis.

The 2011 chassis has a clean break and I think needs a sleeve welded in. This can probably be done reasonably easily

The 2010 chassis is possibly the same repair required but what worries me is the tube is failing rather than the weld.

I'll probably get BRT to sort it for me but I'm happy to share info on what we do.

The problem is I just don't think the 2011 chassis is as quick as the 2010 (I won't know until it's fixed/ replaced) and I don't think the 2010 chassis can be repaired to a state that it can be trusted.

The whole situation is a real shame as I think, in the right hands, (with an intact chassis) it is a good kart.
