But if you say tyre pressures are crucial, even more than having your tyres the right way round, then that is another thing that could easily go wrong during the pressures of a race day.

The tyre pressure have probably become 'crucial' because the tyre structure under load, has become unstable. Therefore the correct pressure at the beginning of the race could be incorrect before the end.

Again, I don't knock the efforts, but I will be staying with a more stable set up.
