Be careful Kinger, do NOT jump in until you know more about it!

Rotax is our most popular class and thus, it's ONE of the good places to start...... but....

Ideally, before you decided on which class, simply go and SEE what's available in your area.

1) Tell us where you are
2) Someone will tell you the nearest tracks and the next dates for races at those tracks.
3) You tell us when you can go to those (Sunday) races and someone here will (probably) offer to meet you and introduce you to what we do. You'll then start to get to know the 'scene' and you'll make friends who can help you buy the RIGHT kart.

Then go to a further 2 meetings (AT LEAST!), ideally, attending another circuit as well.

At the end of that, you'll know a HELL of a lot more about karts and karting and it's at THAT point where you can make an educated decision about the class you want to choose. You will also have a seena lragew range of karts that are for sale AT those races and thus will know what's good value and what's a pile of old trash!

Nobody EVER regrets waiting a bit longer before they spend their money but HUNDREDS come here having bought something BEFORE they saw what could be raced and then regretting what they bought! Keep you hands and cash in your pocket until you KNOW some more about it!

A raceworthy senior Rotax can set you back from Ł1000 to Ł4000 and that's a BIG investment to make on little or no data!

Other classes also have electric starters, not just Rotax. Pro Karts also allow you to self-start without starter motors and many of us can start karts which have NO starter all by ourselves.

The decision on which class to race is not simply based on 'can I start it on my own?'!
