Ergh, the age old 'my grids bigger than your grid, hence the winner is clearly better' argument. Yup, do you know what, I went and won an arrive and drive session at my local indoor kart track last week against about 20 other randomers, so i'm clearly better than KF3 drivers aswell.
The reality is that the winners in any class are generally going to be very similar, no amount of money can make you a winner if you aren't a good driver. Mark Litchfield/Michael Simpson etc have swapped between Rotax and KF and both win or are at the front in both.
KF classes are seen to be more prestigious than Rotax/TKM. It was the same with ICA/Formula A even though they also had smaller grids. They were CIK classes, were faster, grippier tyres and cost more, just look anywhere in Motorsport and the faster and more expensive classes are always the more prestigious.
