Whilst i don't agree with saying one driver is rubbish (he can't be, as everyone has said look at his results), you make a good point about the MSA not looking at other classes.
Quote from the press release: "When deciding who the MSA should nominate we were very fortunate to have the CIK-FIA North European KF3 Trophy meeting in the UK the weekend before. Colleagues and I watched all of the KF3 action over the four days and the data from the meeting was then fully analysed and debated."
There are some quality drivers across the board in classes like Rotax, and even TKM. But Rotax these days does stand out as the toughest grid to be in. To win the Jnr Max field is a bloody good day out to be fair. It's not right that they don't really get a look in.
But having said that, i see the other points to, some rotax drivers spend just as much if not more than some KF3 drivers, and plus, if the MSA were to consider EVERY class, it would be the new season by the time they finished, the Acadamy already having happened!
One potetnial solution is take say the top 5 from each S1 championship, invite them to a shoot out day, and the winnner gets to go! Little bit of tweaking, that idea could work!
