This sounds similar to my last experience competing in a Renault Clio scholarship. The first year they decided to reduce the drive to the mini challenge cup because of low numbers and the following year I booked in, payed Ł299 for round one and 2 weeks before the event they cancelled the whole scholarship beacuse of not enough entrants.

I then got an email a week later saying that I could not be refunded beacuse my money had been spent on last years winner and I had to wait untill the race car or race truck was sold because they had no money to refund me. This was horrible and very unfair and I assumed my money was gone. I did eventually get my money back a few months later, but this is what has given me the concern that all scholarships can go like this.

Its interesting to get your thoughts and experiences. Must be awfull for James as he won the the thing !
