If you have the temp lead and the lead running for the revs twisted together then they tend to interfere with each other and give incorrect readings..Make sue that they are free from each other as much as possible and try again.

If the previous owner has set the parameters of the alfano incorrectly then it will give false readings. Try a full factory reset, if you dont have a manual try here
