Well that is a pi$$ybollity :)

The transponder still had four flashes this morning so it is obviously charging fine now.

I'll let it die and when you get it, try charging it as normal.

I found that I got the red charge light when it was charging and when it was charged, it had no lights but when I removed it from the charger, it flashed four times and I think it must be close to five days life.

The led can do odd things on some of them but they do charge.

The proof is, if it flashes when you take it off charge, it's ok.

Can you measure the adaptor to see if it's giving out about 12v?
