Nice thinking, Simon. You have gone for 'relative' caster angle and I was thinking of 'absolute' caster angle.

I've not seen that gauge:-

It takes a reference position and then you move it to the new postion and it tells you the change of inclination.

I suppose you could use it to tell you if the chassis is twisted too. Careful use of your reference 'plate' would do it....

I think I need a Wixey Gauge.......
