I do think that the large awning brigade should be in some way discouraged from having fully enclosed "hideaways." One of the things I miss when spectating these days compared to years gone by is being able to get a close look at the machinery, and I think it must be off-putting to potential newbies as well who turn up expecting to learn something by watching the "experts" preparing the karts, only to find themselves staring at the sides of an awning. it doesn't present a friendly image!
