Having read the posts on the Notice Board for years I've been wary of posting this question as I know I'll get some responses advising test, test and test which is fair enough. But I don't have enough time or opportunity to do that and am now really caught out with this dilemna. We are running in Rotax Junior and trying to get to grips (or more accurately speaking, trying not to get grip)with the Mojos. We have run the tyres as low as 8psi and they start working very quickly but we generate too much grip half way through and the kart starts hopping (even though we seem to put our fastest times in later in the session). There seems to be completely contradictory information out there on axles. I would have though soft axles would work better to absorb energy and work the tyres less but it just doesn't seem to work for us. I know there's no single answer to this and it's a total set up issue, but would stiffer or springy axles likely make a difference? I daren't go any lower than 8psi on the tyres!
