From what I understand Litchfield is paid by Paul Fletcher?

How common are paid drivers in Europe? Ardigo, Catt and Fore, obviously, but what of the rest?

You may be surprised that, in motorsport in general, factory teams are very rare and paid drivers (by the team or factory) a tiny bit less rare (Rob Huff for instance).

Sponsored drivers such that they don't have to work are more common and sponsored drivers such that they aren't paying ALL of the bills are fairly common. You then have those drivers that are neither paid, nor paying, "bumming" drives from wealthy (and typically slow) drivers and car owners, sometimes even up to Le Mans level.

And then there's the vast majority of us, paying all the bills and working a normal job also.
