having done mine at least 3 times id say its definately about 6 weeks and trying to get back earlier not only hurts but sets you back a few more weeks

doctors dont do anything.the last time i went to the hospital after a meeting i was in so much agony

they wouldnt exray or anything and told me to come back if i was coughing up blood!!

i found tightly wrapping bandages around my ribs was a help and also sleeping with a hot water bottle on the area a comfort
