I notice that people only ever discuss changing the main jet till it pops at the end of the straight (lean) or bogs at the beginning (Rich). No problem with that now.

My question is the K98 verses the K27. Nobody ever seems to go to that level of discussion. Is there something that can be detected by the mechanic or felt by the driver when you have the wrong setting. Or can you only optimise this area with the aid of jetting software.
