We have just left the front end of cadets and apart the the 'Daddy's money' theory which accounts for a number of issues. I would say the bigger part is the 'ranting' Dad, who is clearly a failed driver in his own racing career.

I really feel for some of these 8 to 13 year olds when they are being verbaly insulted....Of course you would take someone out rather than return to the pits to suffer the wrath of Daddy! (your mentor!?!?!)

Have'nt seen it so much in Mini's as ,I think, the kids are older and wont take that s**t.

I want to stress though that these idiots are in the minority and in general parents are just there to enjoy themselves with their driver.
