OK, heres one, my son has 10k of lead to bring him upto Junior Rotax weight of 148, we often run middle pack, I removed all the lead from his kart last week-end at Shenny (saturday) and we were flying, front runner, great lines, fantastic grip. Stick the lead backon back to middle running again. The drivings fine, the grips fine, the lines are fine but how can I maintain the speed with 10k of lead on? It is distributed at the base of the seat front,rear and side. If I go up gears we just rev out, down gears no pull out of bends. Any ideas or do we just have to live with it?
