For me if you can't at least race at 3 or 4 clubs as well as FKS/S1 you will end up needing to run in another class to get race time. Those of you who are stuck in the Junior v Super Cadet dilemma I assume that can't work once you have entered as a Junior. I sort of understand the reasons for wanting this class but it seems poorly thought out too me on a number of fronts.
It’s a shame because my son is the 11, not that big but will only get 1 more year in cadets before he is too heavy. We are entering S1 this year but anything we learn in Cadets won't be as relevant as he will move up to Juniors next year.
If Super Cadet had been properly structured and up and running that would give us probably 3 years, but the doubt over its viability and the likely entry cost is too much of a barrier for us to take a chance.
