Nicely put, I'd add that for many drives even in F1 now you need to bring sponsorship money with you.

But, you only tell how it is, not how it could or should be. Karting should be different, kids talent regardless of money should be able to be recognised.
If we talk kids karting bear in mind that even the richest parents would struggle to take their kids all the way to F1, at some point everyone is going to run out of money. If we accept that corporate money is required to take young talent through, why not make it possible for anyone to be spotted and picked up, rather than only those born with a silver spoon in the first place.
