I have had only Tony Karts so far, I still own two of them: my rotax max on an EVR 09 (rear break only) and my Aixro on an EVR 10 (rear and front break). I borrowed both of my karts to a factory driver from another brand and he was chocked about the breaks on the Tony. He then let me try one of his kart and I must admit I found the breaks much more powerfull. With the Tony I cannot lock the tyres whenever I want (I am using gold pads) but with the other kart I could. We all know the results of the Tony, I think the tubes are great but now I have doubt on the breaks...
I know breaks and chassis in general depends on what each drivers like, but when you cannot lock the wheels when you want, to me it means you loose the opportunity to be at the limit.
What about the kelgates? Foot operated rear front at £1.5k really worth???
