Great to see you are all debating Formula KGP !
Of course like all the rest of you I have a mortgage to pay too! so I do hope our new business does work! - but believe it or not that is not my primary goal - I am a geniune karting nut at heart and I want to enjoy my racing again.
I sincerley would have not introduced F KGP if I thought it was bad for karting or had no realistic chance for a place in the market - I live for my job and dearly love our sport. I have been in the sport for 25 years, seen things come and go, agreed with CIK and disagreed with the CIK with classes etc etc.
The most important thing is choice for the karter, everyone will have a preference -its only natural whether it be 2 stoke , 4 stroke whatever. In the end people will vote with their feet -theres nothing wrong with that too. As long as people enjoy their karting and can choose a class that appeals to them and their budget that's what matters and makes our sport so exciting.
We will putting plenty of effort into F KGP both on the technical front and customer care and intiatives to promote club racing.
Rotax Tim and Co you are very welcome to come and test drive a KGP anytime just give me a call - you never know you just might enjoy it !
best wishes
