The front bottom hoop on a kart, does this have to be removable?

I have an old 1997 Wright which I want to use for the 100cc Race at Rye Next weekend.

I know I have to mod the side brackets to take the new style body work but the front hoop on y old chassis is fixed & ive looked & all new chassis have a removable.

Does any 1 know if this a requirement or will I be ok to use it?
