06 was the last year of homologation for the Sidewinder. in the 07 homologation PC went for the Tonykart Viper after regs were opened up to non British manufacture.
No experience on the 2010 spec tyres but a great kart, easy to set up for any conditions. Reputation for cracking but our 04 only cracked at the root of the seat stay on the brake side once but never suffered any other failure after repair (by PC) and won snr club champs in 04 and ran competitively in Super1 & at Festival in 04 and in 05, setting fastest lap at the Larkhall S1 round '05. Rear bumpers do crack though. Rear bearing hangers are quite narrow so may not be able to use axles larger than 30mm - ask around on that one.
