As I may have said, you are an odd chap. I am happy to trade 'banter' all day with you but.... others are bored by it.
Your comments are delightfully one-dimensional. Translated, your view would imply that Tony Blackburn was a BETTER DJ than John Peel; that John Major was a BETTER PM than Winston Churchill; that Nick Heidfeld was a BETTER racer than Ayrton.....
However, we can't test these points... what we CAN test is whether YOU are more 'popular' than I am. Now.... I wouldn't DREAM of imagining that **I** am popular but I do note that your assumption would imply that 'bland'-YOU should be VERY popular.......errr.... I don't quite think so.... do you?
As I said earlier, regards and respect to you on some of your abilities to see through the cr*p. Kind felicitations for being 'interesting'. Null-points for assuming that challenging may not be the BEST way to 'educate'. And finally, 'see the headmaster after school' for the silly assumption that a) being 'polite' makes you read more widely, b) assuming that 'Bod' is NOT 'contentious' in his style! Personally, I suspect we are closer in style than you have noticed...... but you've not noticed this because you are not looking!
Kind regards
Ian
