yes he's ok thanks.
He has some nasty friction burms up his arm where the kart rear tyre used his arm as a track plus a couple of cuts where the chain contacted his arm.
One of his front teeth is broken which probably happened when his head impacted the steering wheel as the kart landed on his back.
Other than that some general bruising.
Thank god I'd insisted he wore a neck brace (much to his disgust). General consenus by those that witnessed the accident is that without it he would have had very serious injuries to his neck. Having watched the kart hit his head 3 times, front wheel, chassis, then rear tyre/axle (I was 10 yards away at the time)and the state of his helmet afterwards (total write-off) I have to agree completely.
