You can do BTEC in Engineering as well as Vehicle mechanics which is worth 3 A levels and will get you into Uni
If you are thinking in terms of F1 you need an university education - I like your ambition/ aspirations - but the top engineers at that level are not spring chickens - they are highly qualified academics often with PhD in an engineering speciality such as Aeronautics or Aerodynamics and haven't had high paid salaries until they get to F1 often in their mid forties by that time - so it doesn't happen overnight but good luck
