i swear by press ups ,no gym membership required,and you can do them on any flat floor surface.
they execise all the upper body muscles associated with karting.
i start with 45 to 50 long slow full extension without stopping,then rest and repeat with 30,keep resting then carry on with 30 till you get bored .
im 45 and now fitter than i was at 20.
dont expect to do as many as 45 to start with but do as many as you can ,you will soon do more each time and therefore becoming fitter .
