There's an argument that you need the tyre to be neutral in the middle of the corner, where it maximises the grip. A flat contact patch on the straight just increases friction and slows you down.
So what you might set up statically will vary depending on the track, the corners on which you can make most ground and the way the kart flexes, itself affected by the amount of caster you give it.
What's more, as your driving style alters, your settings will change.
It's also possible or even likely that you will find that the best settings involve a different pressure in each tyre and different caster and camber for each front wheel, since there are always 360 degrees more corners in one direction than there are in the other.
