We run at Shenny in cadets (36) as a dad/lad team in the Comer class. We run on a reasonable budget but are still doing well and are generally competitive. You can spend as much as you want and some of the figures you hear are, for want of a better word, pathetic.
Typical budget as a Shenington member for one meeting:
Practice fees for Saturday - Ł30
Entry fee for Sunday - Ł45
Based on engine rebuilds every 10 hours - W/E running is about 1.5 Hours - Ł40
6Ltrs of fuel/oil - Ł8
Plus mileage to the circuit
Plus hamburgers
Plus damage...This is cadets...expect and budget for it.
Plus Wear and tear (Chains /sprockets etc)
Not much change out of Ł200 normally (if you are lucky)

Honda's can be a little cheaper but only a couple normally compete at Sheny (not sure about Rissi)
