OK, I see what you mean, …err…, PIN.
And it so happens that I have a spare chassis without front brakes; nor would it be a problem to restrict the engine to 35hp or whatever the actual F6 limit is. Furthermore, in regional terms F6 should suit me really well. Yet I couldn’t be less motivated to go that route and I’m quite confident in saying the same applies to all other present owners. Clearly there wouldn’t be anything to stop any prospective new owner going that way, but I just don’t see the stampede coming.
Besides, not that this is any of my business, it appears to me that F6 needs to sort out where it wants to be with respect to “senior open” 4/ stroke karts. Does it want indefinitely to serve only the old stock of sub-30hp Biland (et al) kart owners, or also those with the newer crop of mid-30s hp 4/ kart engines? To say that hands are tied by MSA politics is not going to be the answer. This has already led to blurring of the 30-35hp range as seen earlier in this thread and won’t be helpful.
So, PIN, you gonna contact Richard or me?
