In my opinion the S1 officials do not have sufficient control of the cameras. So here's a constructive suggestion.
All cameras should be held in parc ferme along with the tyres and issued in the same fashion for racing. It should be the responsibility of the officials to make sure that they are functioning correctly and collect them all on return to parc ferme. That way they should have all of the data to hand if needed instead of this ridiculous system of calling a camera as a 'witness' and paying a fee.
The main problem with this is that we own the cameras.

At the moment the cameras are probably making driving standards worse because there is no penalty for missing data or failed equipment.
