Have an easier solution, put one of those adjustable straps around the back of the seat and loop through the steering wheel (outside of wheel in through from the back across the 2 spokes back out around the outside) align the wheel and tighten the strap. no way of getting into the kart with that in the way so impossible to forget to remove it too!! Hope this helps.
