I spoke to Mikes dad, and John/jean and ogden as we had what appears to be EXACTLY the same problem as Mike on the Saturday, luckily in the session before timed quali.

11 tooth drum, new clutch, NEW CHAIN went out with a completely cleaned clutch and came back in to find the unipro lit up with grease ALL OVER the clutch - which I know was PERFECTLY clean.

Seems like the grease from the new chain somehow made its way into the clutch. (which I beleive Mike also fitted for his 2nd heat?). After this I cleaned any chains before fitting and hey presto, no problems.

My advice DO NO fit a new chain with an 11 tooth drum, or at least clean off the grease it comes supplied in.
