We have run WTP for 3 years and have 3 engines. All tend to run pretty close to each other - no more than a couple of hundred revs difference. We are always over 13,500 revs on any track. We also have had engines run well over 20 hours before requiring a rebuild and we are running near the front of the LGM series. So I would say there is something more fundemental wrong with your engine or carb. I would have it checked. Cheers Lewis
