A couple of points jambo, the shake in the onboard footage isn't a shake but a wobble (like rolling shutter) caused by the CMOS sensor in the go pro and the high frequency vibration of the engine through the chassis, I'm actually surprised the footage was as good as it was, whether this due to PF's legendary smooth surface or some non standard mount isolation, I'd be interested to here from Alan, pleased to see the go pro aspect distortion is corrected from shenny, it's an easy fix in FCP.
I only caught the 177, as to the interviewing will it is going the right way, with open questioning, I got a flavour of Milan Machs personality, and detected a sense of humour, by asking a how what where when question, that sam may have struggled is an indication from your early post, that looking "hot", and knowing your subject matter, & good interviewing skills are not the same, that will come with a familiarity/engagement with the drivers and following the event. A midget cameraman, ex3s aren't a shoulder mounted camera, I'm guessing the cameraman is holding it into his chest/shoulder to keep it steady, shooting for child height and then running gunning to get back to track position and his tripod.
The frame interlacing issue mid one of the races was just rather peculiar, as at other times from the same video camera stream it was fine, makes you wonder if the problem was after submission.
On whole for program 2 from the 20mins I saw I thought it was marked improvement
That said I thought a definite improvement from what I saw
