Great to see your learning Alan.
Firstly the edit was hugely better, help no doubt from good camera placement and clear communication between cameras. I still think there was an over reliance on the onboards, which frankly arent good, way to shakey. The edit was let down by the same shot cuts in some of interviews. I personally prefered when you did all three interviews in one. Also how small is the cameraman doing the links?
But mainly there was a serious lack of attention to detail outputing a programme with unrendered frames, (the ones in 177 which shook). I still dont think the cameramen have really got the colour sorted, pictures were too dark in some points and they still dont seem to be riding the iris when the sun comes out.
As already been pointed out the sound is still the major issue, sometimes so distorted you have no idea what Alan is talking about, However compared to the adverts its still to quiet.....its a wonder how you managed that!
Last time i felt the Coms and Sam were the best bits of the programme but these were both a step down. Sams 177 interview was.....odd, like her batteries were running low she would stop mid sentence and then take a big gasp before continuing the question. Alans giggling was just ridiculous.
Overall an improvement but the distortion of picture and sound is not really on and as someone pointed out earlier not worth £50 per competitor.
