I'm not surprised you have had no reply, the truth is no-one will tell you because if there selling an engine they will only say what you want to hear, ask the question " is there good low end grunt?" then you will be told YES, course there is, does it pull well out of the bends then again you'll be told YES course it has, then you buy it, race it and realise you've just been told a load of tripe and the engine's rubbish. Dont rely on paper work, test the engine on a track and let the seller prove its worth buying. Would you buy a 2nd hand car without a test drive ? no you woudn't, have I got a chip on my shoulder with people mis-describing engine, YES I have.
