We had 2nd hand chassis, as for engine it depends on what you want to believe, I have a 09 barrel engine and a 01 barrel engine, both the same regards performance, if you want to buy an engine that has been "fiched" then waste your money, go to an engine builder and ask them, if there honest they'll tell you there's not much difference. it's all about gearing, jets, needle clips and driving. I am currently in jnr Rotax looking to go into Easykart because of a more level playing field. Think about it , have a look at the Easykart website before you spend a fortune in Rotax, waste your money and get nowhere.
