gk43 I don't know what various people have told you about Sandown, but without the support of Daytona the monthly MSA meetings would have not been possible.
The reason we ceased running the meetings was due to the lack of entries. The largest drop in entries was when f6 increased its number of rounds, and the Honda Challenge became Super 2.
This is not sour grapes at all, it was just very difficult for us to offer a more attractive package, with Daytona's help we even ran rounds at Milton Keynes to try to offer drivers some new challenges.
The monthly MSA meetings would have ended a lot sooner if Daytona had not financially supported the meetings.
I am sure that improvements to the circuit, facilities, etc. at Lydd will be made and that owner drivers will benefit from Daytona's involvement just let them get thier feet under the table.
