Hi All,
Thanks for clearing up the points issue, bizarre that if we are watching a championship, less than half the 'Championship' races are shown.........Its confusing for me who is not so clued up on the rules. I think this should have been mentioned by the presenter. Has any reason been given for this, i presume the cameras are there?
AB21, the reason i dont have a lot on my profile is i dont race in a series, nor have a website, and I havent met Ben although through Student TV, i know of him....... (we think hes a bit of a tit too!)
I dont doubt that having Karting on TV is good, its great. Aunties all over the country will be particularly joyous! I was looking a little bit more in-depth. In the end i think there are 6 companies that could have successfully produced the S1 programmes and therefore we shouldnt just praise Alan for being there and pointing a camera.I presume he'll make a good living from this work that competitors are funding so i personally dont think its right to judge it on presence alone. Is it up to scratch to Hayfishers work (F3/GT) Race.tv (GT Cup), AMG (race and rally), Greenlight (British Rally), Pit lane Productions (World Motorsports) or Tyndall (did S1 from Nutts Corner) ? When the next programme came on did it compare? Did you have to keep turning down your sound when the adverts came on? In fact have a look at some of the stuff i was involved with, lstv.co.uk best broadcaster at this years National Student Televison awards, how does that compare to this show?
