The thing that annoyed me was i dont think the whole thing was well thought out. There seemed to be no thought process in the planning of such a major undertaking in trying to bring top flight karting to the general public via tv. The first program in my mind just had to go for broke, which they didnt do. They chose to put in the 1st program, the most under subscribed classes,on proberbly the most boring and visually unatractive circuit on the calender. As a race track shennys great but on tv it looked drab, grubby and boring. I recon we will get a much better idea next week when we see how they handle full grids,on visually a track that the veiwing public will say,"now thats what a race track should look like". What im trying to say is,they should have looked at both meetings first and then said "right this is the one thats going to give us the biggest impact". Oh,and im not interested about tv schedules. They should have said to motors tv right from the outset,we need your backing to get karting acepted by the general public so we want to get it off with a bang, which would mean we would like with your help to select the first program that will give us the biggest impact visually on tv.
