I had heard that rumour before too. No smoke and no mirrors. Daytona purchased the freehold and assets of the circuit from the Administrators.

The Kart Club I referred to is the Sandown Park Kart Club, which still exists but doesn't hold any race events... at present.

We still give the KKRC a race day every month at Lydd and are delighted to see owner drivers racing on the circuit both on race days and test days.
