My understanding was that super KF was introduced over KF1 because the manufactureres wanted it because KF1's tuning rules were to restrictive, not because the drivers wanted it.
Now Birel and CRG are buycoting the CIK and not turning up beacause of some disagreement.
So raise two fingers to the manufacturers and scrap Super KF, if they dont want to run they wont sell any kit. Run KF3 and KF2, one junior class and one senior class, still more than enough power to wipe the floor with any rotax's that venture out ont the circuit with them!
If you want a more budget class you make KF2 the premier catagory and introduce KF National, running the old homolagation KF2 or KF3 motors, no front brakes and harder tyres (basically what has been dubbed KF clubman).
This gives you:
Junior - KF3
Senior - KF National - KF2
This allows tuners to tune, chassis and engine manufactureres to show off their new kit in KF3 and KF2, and more importantly a national class thats cheaper to set up in than rotax with 'PROER' engines.
