I'm sure you're aware of the problems in movement of a joint to a position beyond the joint's normal maximum extension and this is exactly what some neck supports help with. Obviously foam supports aren't as good but if you look at the Leatt or Valhalla neck supports you will see just like the hans device they reduce front and rear hyper-flexion together with any side to side or downward pressure. I would suggest the proof you might be looking for would be from the last couple of posts where the 2 sons have walked away from 2 big accidents. Although i'm sure you will say something like "how do you know they wouldn't have been ok anyway"
Although I'm willing to run this passed you I'm certainly not going to try on other subjects like seat belts, air bags, seat stays and climate change. I assume these are other topics you will try and gather some conspiracy theory's on.
