already illegal. The MSA simply reminded us of the fact. You may heat your tyres to aid the removal of debris at practice days, and non msa events (where permitted), but at msa events the 2010 blue book rules are:
16.9.6. Heating of tyres, by any method, or their
treatment by any chemical substance is prohibited.
16.9.7. The mechanical removal of accumulated
rubber debris is permitted.
