The circlips didn't come in the delivery of parts but if you phone KKC, they do them for the gun.

the ring does definitely grip a socket and adaptor so that is probab;y why your one falls of.

Unless the one you are trying is a poor quality and is too big to start with.

(Still trying to find the ones we apparently had already)
