Right, have an issue. got the new otk self-adjusting brakes, but had to overhaul everything, think seals went(9months old, possible wrong brake fluid in previously)
well, changed all seals in master cylinder, and rear caliper, changed bleed nipples as i'd destroyed them by overtightening! had to drill new seat for the nipples nto the actual caliper, as they were leaking even with new nipples. put dot5 synthetic silicone brake fluid, putoline, and bled with brake bleeding tool about 4/5 times. now NO leak from rear caliper at all!
New otk pads, but still feel a little spongy when pushing down hard. Have lift the rear of kart up, unscrewed the resorvoirs and pressed the brake pedals down alot, saw small bubbles coming out. Did this for nearly 30mins, and still a few tiny bubble would still come out.
now, the brakes do work, but I want to get rid of that slight spongy feel when pressed down fully. Ive seen another karts brakes (not otk) and pressing the brakes there were "solid".
Really stuck here, ive stripped it all down, realy would appreciate a little help.
cheers guys.!
