But even if it's facing backwards you will only see the kart who hits you, you will not see if another driver hit them before they hit you. If the kart who hit you had a camera on the back of their kert then that camera can be viewed to see if someone hit them but if they opt out then they can get away with knocking you off.
Like I said it's got to be all or nothing for the camera evidence system to work otherwise there will be a lot of if's and buts when it comes to reviewing the evidence.
The one's who complained about cost will still not be happy, £20 is a drop in the ocean. The one's who were happy with the costs will now not be happy because they are not getting as good value for money.
I'm afraid to say that going off the news article, if the onboard camera's are optional then I feel that this decision hasn't been thought through properly.
